The Best Year Podcast

I was asked to write some jazzy pieces for a podcast following the story of a spy. I decided to write a piece that would include some recorded improv sax. In the end I ended up with several versions of the track, as well as shortened versions of each section. Here is one version of the full track.

And now for something different. A lot of the reference tracks sent to me had a similar sound of guitar and voice, so I decided to challenge myself and write something to that vein. It was fun to experiment on my guitar, trying out new chords I hadn’t known before.
