I studied with Samantha on the University of Bristol film music master’s course from 2021-2022. Samantha is particularly gifted in game music composition and I have had the pleasure of listening to much of her work, which is always vibrant and evocative.

Samantha is not only a highly-skilled composer, but also an attentive musician. She played flute for a game soundtrack I worked on and was able to adapt her playing style to evoke the folk-like Japanese setting. Samantha also provided vocals for a short documentary, humming an ethereal melody which would become the basis of the score.

I have aided Samantha in recording a string quartet and got to view first-hand her proficiency with conducting, as well as her ability to engage musicians and produce a slick and polished recording. Our working relationship has continued since university as Samantha now manages me at an after-school primary club. I can attest to Samantha’s personable and professional nature and would recommend her unreservedly.
